Good Vibes Guitar Lessons — Beginner & Intermediate

Ready to pick up a guitar for the first time or build on the skills you already have? Good Vibes Guitar Lessons with Steven Isaac offers beginner and intermediate instruction in a relaxed, encouraging environment where students can build confidence, develop practical guitar skills, and learn to make music they enjoy.

Lessons are held every Friday at Whimsical Threadz, located inside the Collaborative Building in Downtown Clare, Michigan.

Left and Right handed players are welcome. However we only offer guitar rentals for lessons for right handed players at this time.

Guitar rentals are available for in class instruction only for an additional $10 per class paid in person on the day of the class. Rented instruments may not be taken home at this time.

What Students Will Learn

Lessons will focus on building a strong musical foundation, including:

• The parts of the guitar — learn the different components that make up the guitar and understand their basic functions.

• Guitar tuning and alternate tuning — learn how to properly tune your guitar as well as explore alternate tunings.

• Chord recognition and understanding basic chord shapes.

• Your first five chords and how to transition smoothly between them.

• Tab (tablature) reading and how to use tabs to learn songs and guitar parts.

• Major and minor pentatonic scales and how they are used in guitar playing.

• Improvisation — begin using chords, scales, and techniques to develop creativity and your own playing style.

• Basic guitar technique, rhythm, and timing, along with other fundamentals appropriate to each student's experience level.

The goal is to give students a practical foundation that helps them understand their instrument, play with confidence, and continue developing their own musical style.

Whimsical Threadz Class Terms & Conditions

By registering and paying for a Whimsical Threadz class, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Payment & Registration: Full payment is required at the time of registration.

All class fees are non-refundable.

Registration closes two (2) days before the class. No registrations will be accepted the day before or the day of the scheduled class.

Supplies: Class fees do not include supplies unless specifically stated otherwise. The required supply list will be provided after full payment is received, based on the supply list option selected during registration. Students are responsible for purchasing and bringing all required supplies to class.

Missing Supplies: Students who arrive without the required supplies may still receive any pattern included with their class fee; however, no refund, credit, make-up class, or additional instruction will be provided for missed instruction.

Attendance & Late Arrivals: Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared. Classes will begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals and no-shows do not qualify for refunds, credits, make-up classes, or additional instruction. Instructors are not required to repeat material missed because of a late arrival.

Three-Occurrence Policy: A student who is late and/or fails to attend a scheduled class a total of three (3) times may be barred from future Whimsical Threadz classes unless participation is approved in advance by Whimsical Threadz staff.

Right to Refuse Participation: Whimsical Threadz reserves the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to refuse registration, admission, or continued participation. Students may be required to leave for disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or otherwise unacceptable conduct. When refusal or removal results from a student's conduct or failure to follow these terms, no refund or credit will be issued.
